Crossroad (2020)

Crossroad is a photography project containing eight photos. These eight photos showed when the eight groups of people in different social positions or identities interacted in the same scene. These scenes are a part of what I have seen or experienced since I came to the United States, and I asked different actors and actresses to recreate these scenes in my mind, emphasizing the sense of visual design artificially. Although the concept of this project involves discussion of different social issues, by expressing the benign coexistence of people from different social classes in the same space, I hope this set of photos will allow viewers from different statuses to think about this issue from a more positive perspective. Whether innate or acquired factors determine that our lives are different from each other, we are going to be connected countlessly via these “crossroads.”
